Another Revelation before championships

All set to appear at the 'Asian Choir Championships' in November 2007 in Jakarta, Indonesia, the popular choral group The Revelations will present ‘Unfinished Business’ an evening of music at the newly opened 'Holy Family Convent, Bambalapitiya, Auditorium' on September 23 at 6.30 p.m.

The programme comprises pop, classical, sacred, barbershop, spiritual and gospel music spanning many genres and ages with the Merry-An Singers as special guests. The proceeds of the show would be used to fund The Revelations' participation at the Asian Choir Championships.

"Taking part in the Asian Choir Games is like a dream come true for our group. We look forward to it with much eagerness as we feel privileged to have been selected for such an event. For us it will be a huge experience as we will be meeting some of the best choirs in the world. In addition to the experience on the competition aspect, we will try our best to make our county proud. We hope that many would come for this, our last concert held in aid of our travel to Indonesia to participate at the choir games," said Ishan de Lanerolle, president of the group.

The Revelations recent performances were "Good Vibrations" in May and July 2007, "Strike a Chord", and the Gospel Music extravaganza in aid of CTS at the St. Joseph's auditorium in March 2007. The Revelations CD "Kaleidoscope" has been totally sold out.

Box plan and tickets for the show will be available at The Autodrome Ltd. Union Place, Colombo 2 from September 11.
