Intimex Consulting’s Sri Lanka operations

Intimex Consulting, the international export strategy consultancy launched its Strategy Cell in Colombo recently covering both Sri Lanka and Maldives providing core solution areas including export strategy, international marketing and international market entry.

Founder and Chief Strategist of Intimex Consulting, Nibras Bawa said in a statement that they would facilitate Sri Lankan companies to become globally competitive world class organisations and that the consultancy is globally focused with strong international connections and represented in the Indian sub-continent, Sub Sahara region and in Far East by its associates.

“Intimex has invested significantly in Sri Lanka both in terms of setting up a fully-fledged operation and also increasing consultant base,” he said, adding that the Colombo operation is about 10 months old.

Bawa noted that many local firms want to go abroad with their products and services and the new breed of strategists want to help them carve a niche in the area of global export and market entry. He said the young team of strategists has previously worked in projects for some of the Fortune 500 companies worldwide.
