Kandy–Chendai MoU signed

A Chinese delegation led by Deputy Mayor Zhag Chunmig of the city of Chendai was received by Kandy Mayor L.B.Aluvihare and the councillors of the Kandy Municipality on Tuesday and a Memorandum of Understanding signed between them. The MoU was between the Heritage City of Kandy and the Heritage City of Chendai in China. The MoU encopasses cultural, educational and technical information exchanges. It was also stated there would be student exchanges between the two cities in the coming year.
