Sriyapala cracks elegant 102 for SSC

SSC amassed a score of 356 for 6 thanks to a 138 ball knock of 102 from Janudhika Sriyapala which included eight boundaries and a six to come out on top at the end of the first day’s play in their Under 23 encounter against Sebastianites played at the SSC grounds.

Sriyapala was supported by two half tons from Shailka Karunanayake (60) and Dunil Abeydeera who made an unbeaten 51. Sebs in their turn were 21 for no loss. The match will be continued at 10.00 a.m. today.
