Seminar on corrupt-free governance

A public seminar on the theme, ‘civil society demands corrupt-free governance in Sri Lanka’, will be held on August 23, sponsored by the Retired Senior Police Officers Association (RSPOA) along with Transparency International Sri Lanka (TISL).

The seminar will be held at the SLIDA main auditorium on Malalasekera Mawatha, Colombo 7 from 3.00 to 6.00 p.m. while retired SSP S.B.W. De Silva, a member of RSPOA will be the moderator at the meeting.

Speakers at the meeting include Retired Auditor General S.C. Mayadunne, COPE Chairman and Parliamentarian Wijedasa Rajapakse, Hatton National Bank Chairman Rienzie Wijetilleke, Winner of the woman of courage award and attorney-at-law Kishali Pinto Jayawardena, SSP Neville Guruge, Director of Investigations of the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption and TISL Executive Director J.C. Weliamuna.
