Too much too soon
Is it that money and fame has come too soon to that bleached blond young fast bowler in Sri Lanka? There are several minus stories about him. The first is when some of his fans turned ugly on him after they were snubbed by this famous young man while exercising at the Panadura beach. The second was when people started talking when the fast bowler did a U-turn in front of a Policeman who recognized him --breaking traffic laws of this country. The third when the Village Council ordered him to break down the ten-foot wall surrounding his new house which he put up without obtaining prior approval of the council.

Near thing
A timely intervention by one of our journalists who had the correct time card saved the day for the Lankan athletes who were in Jordan to take part in relay event. The coach who had the wrong time card was peacefully scheduling his team for a different time when the sharp journalist brought them back to reality.

What a laugh!!!
