Another explosives lorry detected

A lorry carrying 794 gelignite sticks and more than 1,000 fuse caps was detected by Galewela police yesterday morning, police said. They said the gelignite sticks and fuse caps were concealed under a load of metal in the lorry going from Narammala to Kanthalai. The lorry owner, the driver and the cleaner were taken into custody, the police said. This was the third explosives laden lorry detected in recent weeks.
