Galileo wins ‘Best GDS’
Galileo, a leading global distribution system (GDS) and subsidiary of Travelport, has won the “Best GDS” category at Travelweekly, Asia’s prestigious travel industry awards.
The awards, which were held at The Harbour Plaza Metropolis in Hong Kong, recognized the best in the Asian travel industry, acknowledging their contributions to tourism.
It was the first awards ceremony to be hosted by the region’s leading travel trade publication.
Noted in particular by the judges was Galileo’s ease of navigation, extensive content and the company’s track record in innovation, demonstrated in new products such as the launch of Galileo Leisure and Galileo Reach, as well as Galileo’s continued leadership role in offering Hotel Best Available Rates content.
