One long year just passing by
Since your innocent life – was brutally grabbed
By - cruelty to humanity.

It was like yesterday – we vowed together
For better for worse
For sickness ‘n’ in health
Till journey ends.

Many years we shared
With love ‘n’ happiness - forgiving and forgetting
With rays of hope
Filling our tomorrow.
One gloomy night
You were taken – never to return
Shattering all our dreams
Like the world end !

Dear Lord, you gave me courage
To hold back tears – and tell the world
Now give me the strength
To stand for Justice - and move on.
