Kelaniya undergrads at Alliance Française

An exhibition of painting by six graduates at the University of Kelaniya is now being held at the Alliance Française de Colombo Auditorium, 11 Barnes Place, Colombo 7.

As a part of its commitment towards cultural cooperation, Alliance Française has opened its doors to the young artists Chamila Jeewanthi, Masitha Fernando, Menaka Wimalaratne, Chamika Ruwanthi Munasinghe, Samudaya Bandara and Asitha Amarakoon with the idea of promoting promising talents. The exhibition will go on till July 2.

Followed B.A. Degree in Fine Arts (Painting and Computer Graphics as practical subjects) in the special degree Course all young artists have all island, district and, regional achievements in painting competitions.

According to the Director "young artists, contemporary artists, upcoming artists need to have more exposure".
