Seminar on Global Warming

The Sri Lanka-Singapore Business Council of The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce is presenting a seminar on “Global warming- "Challenges and Opportunities for Sri Lanka" on July 3 in Colombo. It is organised by EFAISL – Eisenhower Fellowship Association of Sri Lanka and the council in association with MIND – Munasinghe Institute of Development and the MARGA Institute.

It will address issues like climate change, possible investment opportunities in Sri Lanka and the vulnerability of tea plantations to climate change.

The speakers are Prof. Mohan Munasinghe, Chairman /MIND / Munasinghe Institute of Development Vice Chairman of UN Intergovernmental Panel Climate Change, Geneva, Dr Janaka Ratnasiri, Environmental Consultant and Dr. B.M.S. Batagoda, Director General (Operation and Review), Ministry of Finance and Planning.
