Asian Athletic trials on May 19-20

The national under 20 squad for the Asian Athletic Championships which will be held in Beirut, Lebanon from July 28 to August 2 and the under 18 squad for the World Youth Games which will be held in Austrawa, Czech Republic from July 11 to 15 will be held on 19th and 20th May at the Sugathadasa Stadium, Colombo.

For the under 18 athletes only the 100,200 and the 400metre sprint events will be held.

Those desirous of taking part at this selections will be subjected to a participating fee of Rs.25 per event and it has to be paid to the Athletic Association of Sri Lanka by cash or by cheque on or before the 5th of May.-BW
