Air Force Commander gives go ahead for rugby

Air Marshal Roshan Gunatilleke has given the green light to his rugby team to take part in this years club season. Earlier there was an indication that they would have to sit it out this season due to the exigencies duties.

Air Force has recruited some schools rugby players from last season – Vidyartha (4), and one each from Dharmarajah and St. Anthony’s. The team will be led by ‘Lock; dusky Pradeep Kurukulasuriya. The squad will be coached by an experienced W. Hafeel. A level II coach.
