Another musical revelation

Whatever kind of music you love – whether it’s the chart toppers, classics, pop or rock genre that appeals to you – ‘Good Vibrations’ presented by the well known all male ensemble group Revelations will certainly be an evening of unforgettable music.

‘Good Vibrations’ which goes on the boards at the Russian Cultural Centre on May 4 & 5 will feature two nights of music par-excellence with a wide and diverse range of songs including selections from the Beach Boys, Eagles, Beatles, Eric Clapton, Broadway musicals, Disney, Gospel, Jazz and Barber Shop just to name a few.

Revelations – which boasts the finest male voices in the country – has been enthralling audiences since their first concert ‘Kaleidoscope’: Revelations in Concert in 1994.

Since then Revelations has enriched music lovers with ‘Revelations in Concert’ in 2000, “An Evening with the Revelations” in 2001, “Programme of Sacred Music” in 2001 and ‘Christmas Recital’ in 2006. They also launched the CD “Kaleidoscope”, which was a sell out.

Revelations, is directed by Sanjeev Jayaratnam, and comprises well-known singers, such as Rohan de Lanerolle Jr, Srimanthaka Senanayake, Christopher Godridge, Ishan de Lanerolle, Manoj Singanayagam, Enaksha Fernando, Charith Peiris, Asanka Perera and Travis de Silva.

Their repertoire includes, pop, jazz, barber shop, sacred, gospel, classical, doo-wop, or just about any style of music.

Tickets priced at Rs. 500- will be available at The AutoDrome, 304 Union Place, Colombo 02 and at the Russian Cultural Centre on the days of the show.
