If I could be a superhero

Racing behind the wheel of the Batmobile, wearing a black mask and cloak… I would be Batman.

I would be Batman because he doesn't have any special powers but still manages to defeat his enemies like The Joker and The Penguin. You may ask how he does it, because if he doesn't have any special powers or weapons to protect him, he will be dead in his grave by now.

I will tell you, Batman is very intelligent, he uses his brains and makes his weapons. I have piles of Batman CD's in my room and I have watched them like a million times. I have a Batman water bottle, bag, pencil box and ruler. I really wish that there was a real Batman now.

The noble bees

We're noble bees of the kingdom of bees,
Don't think us any lesser than you should,
'Cos though we are quite small in size,
We work as much as we could.

We're never lazy and idle,
We work all day in haste,
Building our hive and guarding our hive,
We've not a minute to waste.

We never quarrel or have our own ways,
We're one big family,
We're an example for you human race,
But what d'you do instead?

You destroy our hive to steal our honey,
Ultimately, make some money,
But aren't you ashamed, to destroy the hive,

Which team do you think would win the Cricket World Cup?

12 – 14 years

Cricket is a popular game among us. These days, we pay a lot of attention to Cricket World Cup matches as in previous years. The team which would win the World Cup is a puzzle for all of us. But I think the Sri Lankan team would win the Cricket World Cup.

I think so because the Sri Lankan team played the past matches well and won them too. This was a great joy for them. Most of the best bowlers and top runs scorers play for the Sri Lankan team. This is a great fact for the Sri Lankan team to be the champions.
There's a saying that practice makes perfect. So I think the Sri Lankan team is perfect because of practice too. So practice showed them the path to success. The Sri Lankan team is well prepared too.

According to the above reasons, I think the Sri Lankan team would win the Cricket World Cup 2007.

So may God Bless the Sri Lankan players to play well and to win the World Cup!
