Seminar on Investigations

A one day seminar on ‘Investigations’ organized by the Industrial Security Foundation (Sri Lanka) Inc. will be held at the YWCA Rotunda Gardens, Colombo 3 on Saturday, April 28. The ISF said that the quality of even simple investigations in private organizations has continued to be poor, thereby allowing those who commit various offences to go scot free and continue with their illegal activities bringing further losses to such oganizations.

Commencement of an Investigation, Court Proceedings and Disciplinary Inquiries, Recording of Statements from Witnesses and Suspects, Identification, Taking Charge of, Care and Custody of Productions and Report Writing are the topics that will be discussed by the resource personnel -- S B W de Silva, former Director Police College, Consultant & Trainer in Security Management, Neville Gray, (SSP) Director In-Service Training, Police Headquarters and Ajith Rohana, (ASP) Deputy Director, Police Higher Training.
