New techniques to improve business skills

SIYB (Start and Improve Your Business association) in Sri Lanka recently collaborated with the International Labour Organization to introduce the EYB (Expand Your Business) entrepreneur training programme.

The EYB programme is a mini MBA programme to expand businesses which would help initiate strategic plans for the growth oriented entrepreneurs and it paves the way to transform a businessman into a professional one.

SIYB said in a press release that it has signed a MOU with SLIM ( Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing), a national body of marketing, to conduct this entrepreneur development training under the Expand Your Business project An awareness building programme of EYB was held in Colombo recently.

Roel Hokemulda, Chief Technical advisor for the ILO Entergrowth project, said that EYB is a part of ILO global programme aimed at helping an entrepreneur to think widely to diversify their business.
