M.A.F. Holds A.G.M

The Moratuwa Arts Forum (MAF), organization comprising the cream of artistes from the musical city Moratuwa will hold their 13th Annual General Meeting on Sunday, 25 March at 5.30 p.m. at the Sri Palee Hotel, Moratuwa.

The forum has executed many programmes during the past years and many big events since its inception over an decade ago.
'With the new Board of Directors taking over, we will be concentrating on new artistic ideas and other socially responsible projects for the ensuing year' said Laksiri Fernando, the current president of MAF.

The AGM proper will be held after the ceremonial opening which will be graced by a distinguished gathering of invitees.

The highlights of the opening session include dancing and singing sequences and presentation of Presidential Awards of Excellence for outstanding MAF performers during the year.

Rohan Weliwita the Chairman of Sri Lanka Vahini Satallite TV Channel will be the chief Guest, and there will be media personalities also among the invitees as the special guests.

Past Presidents of the MAF are Asoka Peiris, Lankika Perera, Tilak Perera, Nihal Fernando, Sarath Gunawardene, Brian Coorey and Laksiri Fernando
