Happening night

Colombo is about to melt down as the hottest heatwave of Mercury, Fahrenheit 323, hits the city on March 23 at the Taj rooftop from 7.30 p.m. onwards.

All guys and gals out there, be ready to party because Mercury Institute is about to make you dance and holler out like never before together with DJ Spike!

First question that appears on your brain screen is why Fahrenheit 323 isn't it? Well, as the highly enthusiastic student committee say in their own words, "The 23rd of the 3rd month is going to be fiery and burning with the heat of Mercury," so come on and knock those shoes off and sweat it out!" As they dash about, working for their imminent happening day, the committee assure an enjoyable night filled with spice and it seems that many more surprises are yet to be revealed!
Shan Jayasekara a senior lecturer of the institute says, "Doing things differently is a practice that Mercury has been continuing for the past six years.”

The annual dance is a key event on the Mercury agenda, which brings together both past and present students along with the lecturers and is always a much-looked-forward-to event by all. "

As students in the field of professional education it is important that they identify and blend in with the corporate environment,” says Jeevith Shakespeare, the executive director of the institute. And according to him, the objective of organizing such an event is to set a background and an opportunity for the tender footers of the corporate ladder to get accustomed with the past students of the institute who are now on high peaks in the same field.
