Healing music by Erik Berglund

The music of Erik Berglund does more than delight - it also heals. Famed for his mastery of the Celtic harp, clear tenor and inspired composition, Erik has over seven albums to his credit and has performed at the Lincoln Centre and Carnegie Recital Hall among many other places.

Using the famous holy mountain in California, Mt. Shasta as a base, Erik has performed in exotic locales such as the ancient Incan city of Machu Picchu in Peru, the Chalice Well in Glastonbury, the Great Barrier Reef of Australia, the Great Pyramid of Egypt and the Mount of the Beatitudes above the Sea of Galilee in Israel.

He has much in common with the troubadours of long ago, for whom music went beyond artistry and into the realms of spirituality and communion with the divine, says Leela Isani a spiritual healer responsible for bringing Erik to Colombo for a concert on February 27.

In a follow-up to the concert, Erik will be conducting a healing seminar on March 10 and 11 at the Mount Lavinia Hotel.

Erik Berglund's concert 'On Wings of Love' will be held on the February 27 at 7.30 pm in the St. Joseph College Chapel, Colombo. Tickets are available at Food City and Barefoot. For more information on the seminar, contact Leela Isani & Satya Wilmsen on 0779948386.
