Our trip to Sinharaja Rainforest

On a boat ride

It was a Friday morning. I was a very small girl, so I didn't know where we were going. I asked my mother, where we were going. She said that we were going to the Sinharaja Forest.

We went in our own vehicles. Before going into the forest my father said we could have a boat ride. So we jumped into a boat.
After we had a boat ride, we had our lunch near a waterfall and came to our bungalow around six o'clock.

Planting a flower plant

The next day we went inside the forest. There we saw lots of birds. Unluckily we couldn't see some animals, because it started to get dark. After that we went into the bungalow. We sat outside for a chat.

The bungalow manager called us and told us to go and sit in a room. There was a TV there. He switched on the TV and showed us about plants in the forest. When he finished showing the plants, he told us to plant a flower plant in the forest before we left.

The next day we asked him to give us some flower plants. He gave us the plants. We planted them and went back home.
