Racing driver Dilantha Malagamuwa felicitated

A special award was handed over to Dilantha Malagamuwa, the overall champion of Malaysian supercar series December 2006.

The function was held on February 2 at Global Tower Hotel, under the patronage of newly appointed Minister of Sports and Public Recreations Gamini Lokuge and Minister Duminda Dissanayake .

Minister Lokuge addressing the media said that he is proud and admire, the efforts of Fitness Kingdom which has come forward to encourage and felicitate Dilantha Malagamuwa. This should be done by the Ministry of Sports, and give state (government) sponsorship and support him for overall encouragement to his future achievement and performance.

He thanked Mr Hayashi the sponsor of Dilantha Malagamuwa for spending a millions of dollars for a Sri Lankan sportsman. Minister Duminda Dissanayake also addressed the media.
