‘The Emperor’ at Crescat City - crowning Colombo’s Condominiums

Asian Hotels and Properties Limited (AHPL), developers of ‘Crescat City’, ‘Crescat Residencies’ and ‘The Monarch,’ have commenced construction on Colombo’s newest and grandest condominium ‘The Emperor’ at Crescat City.

Designed and styled by the world renowned architectural firm Palmer and Turner, Singapore, the 35-storey chrome, concrete and glass edifice with three basement levels for car parking is scheduled for completion by the last quarter of 2009 and meets every possible criterion as an exquisite premium freehold residential development.

CEO Property Sector of Asian Hotels and Properties, Stephan Anthonisz said that a unique feature of ‘The Emperor’ is that it provides direct and immediate access to a large number of star class facilities such as Colombo’s best hotel, The Cinnamon Grand, Crescat Boulevard and The Angsana City Club and Spa. “It enjoys the most pristine location in the heart of Colombo, in close proximity to principal diplomatic missions and is strategically nestled between Colombo’s premier arteries Galle Road and Duplication Road.”

“Already over 60% of the apartments have been secured by way of deposits, while a further 20% carry bookings.

The buyers (around 55% Sri Lankan expatriates) have invested on the basis of the location, the reputation of parent company John Keells Holdings (JKH), and the array of support facilities and services within the Crescat City complex. The timely, visible construction progress of the 30 storey condominium - “The Monarch at Crescat City” - which sold out in a record nine months following its pre-sale launch in June 2004, has also helped,” Anthonisz added.

Like ‘The Monarch’, ‘The Emperor’ too promises to incorporate the latest in styling and construction technology advances, in the features and facilities it offers.
