Rock around the clock at Clancy’s

Clancy's is a well known night spot for live music, dance and for good food. Though Clancy's' caters to young adults and party people, its doors are open for every one, who wants to take a break from the hassles of the day to day life.

'As you enter, you are greeted with a warm smile and escorted into an area that suits your mood & your lifestyle. Clancy's offers you a setting that's sure to please even the most discriminating of tastes' said Ryan Canagasaby, the Manager Marketing.

Managed by Reign Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. Clancy's Pub and Restaurant was established in 2000. It is the first Irish Pub and Restaurant in Sri Lanka. Since then, Clancy's has been entertaining both locals as well as expatriates in Colombo with their unique blend of European Cuisine and Sri Lankan hospitality. The pub and the restaurant can cater up to 350 revellers.

'With special events and with special performances it can go up to packed 500pax' Ryan said. Clancy's has become one of Colombo's most talked about night-spots, mainly due to its flamboyant live music entertainment throughout the week. Top bands in town -Sound Journey, Daddy, Black, X-it and DJ Eugene are in action at all seven days.

Daddy is in action on Fridays, while Sound Journey comes alive on Saturdays. X-it and Black perform on Thursdays and Wednesdays respectively and DJ Eugene comes in to action on Mondays.

'All music played here is retro and that is the main group we are targeting at. With its weekly line up, there is something for everybody, every night' said Raymond Fernando, the CEO of the place.

The Clancy's weekly lineup also includes theme nights ranging from the Travel Industry Night to the Quiz Night. Sri Lanka's very first ever pool parlour 'Shooters' at the upper floor, which in its own special way adds variety and colour to the venue.

The happy hour is from 6.00pm to 8.00pm and the entrance cover charge is Rs 500/-- on Fridays and Saturdays, while Rs 200/- is the entrance ticket on other days. The ladies are free to enter the pub.

Clancy's serves a wide variety of food and beverages. Bernard Shaw's Favorite Wings, Ronan Keating's Golden Prawns, James Joyce's Hot Fingers, Mickey Rooney's Devilled Pork Skewers, Sinead O'Connor's Fish and Chips, O'Casey's Bangers and Mash, John Wayne's Onion Rings, Oscar Wilde's Game Chips are some of the club favourites on the dinner menu.

Clancy's' serves all kinds of beverages from fresh fruit juice to all kinds spirits such as Champagne, White and Red Wine, Aperitifs, Sherry, Port, Whiskey, Bourbon, Gin, Rum, Vodka, Brandy and Cognac, with local spirits and liqueurs.
