Schools’ rugby slides deeper into the rut  
The feeder system of the Rugby national grid, namely schools is sinking even deeper in to a quagmire of controversy. St. Anthony’s College who were demoted to the ‘B’ Division for allegedly infringing the rules, are seriously contemplating legal action.
 
Beyond 2007
The much awaited World Cricket showpiece is fast approaching and for the last two years or more every full member of the cricketing fraternity has been gearing themselves up and focusing towards this eventuality which will take place in the Caribbean in less than fifty days hence.
 
Mahela’s hour of glory
The last world cup in South Africa in 2003 was a personal disaster for him when he scored just 21 runs in games. Not surprisingly he was dropped from the team. He fought his way back knowing that form is only temporary and class is permanent and was soon back in the team.
 
Royal marooned
After a forty seven year drought, finally Ananda romped home to beat Royal by an innings and 37runs with fifteen mandatory overs to spare at Reid Avenue, yesterday. Ananda win came on time as shortly afterwards their victory heavy rains came down.
