The Lankan cricket authority hasear-marked the outfield of the ground and all the playing wickets under the expertise of chief Lankan curator Anurudha Polonowita and an Australian curator who will be flown down especially for this job.
Meanwhile it was also known that water pump houses will be installed at the Colombo Cricket Club, The P. Saravanamuttu Stadium, Police Park, Colts Cricket Club Grounds and the Moors Grounds, while the Galle Cricket Stadium will be refurbished with new Fibre Glass Chairs.

Besides the above, the NCC side wickets where the majority of the National Cricket practices are held are scheduled to be re-laid at a cost of Rs.300,000 while the Rambukkana Cricket Grounds, which is one of the leading grounds in the Kegalle area is to get a side wicket at a cost of Rs.300,000/-.
