View on Sri Lanka from German ambassador

The Sri Lanka – Germany Business Council, an affiliate of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce has organised a presentation on “Sri Lanka’s Perspectives for 2007” by Jurgen Weerth, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany in Sri Lanka on January 26.

“Sri Lanka is currently facing a number of challenges in taking forward the peace process, managing economic growth and upgrading living standards of people. Various segments of the society has diverse views regarding the challenges faced by the country as well as on ways and means to address these issues. The German Ambassador would share his views on Sri Lanka’s Perspectives”, the chamber said.
