On the mat

The umpires have sought this meeting as a result of a promised 500 rupee increase that has not been give to them over a period of time.

What’s up?
It’s one of the leading Buddhist institutions in the country very famous for its cricket. The story goes that the coach of the school has been instrumental in naming some one else as captain instead of the real one who was down to do the job this year. To add insult to injury in some of the games he even has been made to sit it out on the bench. However it is also reported during last year’s big match he was involved in the match saving stand for the school.

Another scam
It is said that a monthly allowance of Rs.2000/- has been allocated to a up country coach for the services rendered by him for the SAG. But, it is said that he played no part in the games at all. Please tell us where did the money go?

Did not attend
The NOC big boss opted to skip the do at Temple Trees. It was said that he was indisposed at that time. But, it was curious that during the entire Thamasha, not a single world was mentioned about him.

Berated
The sniveling man is sad. Coach SG had pulled him up after the big party for not giving cash awards for the coaches too. When the scolding came his way the sniveling man had replied “If I gave your crowd cash awards, I would have to do the same to the ground staff too”.

Now..now…now
With the announcement of cabinet changes two ministers who are eyeing the post of the Sports Minister are already receiving congratulatory messages. However at the same time the incumbent minister says he is more than sure that he is going to remain in this same ministry in the same capacity even after the reshuffle.

More about balls
A high official of the SLC is accused of purchasing sub-standard balls at a cost of rupees 600,000/-. The balls have been purchased from a friend of his, but, they say he is not a registered supplier. The SLC has ordered to stop payment for the same.
