U-13 Inter- district cricket begins tomorrow

The under 13 Inter-District cricket tournament sponsored by Prima Group – Ceylon Agro Industries Ltd., conducted by Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) will commence tomorrow. The competition which is being conducted for the Prima Noodles Champions Trophy has attracted 24 district teams.

These teams have been grouped into eight sections and will be conducted on a knock-out basis. Matches will be played in Kandy, Kurunegala, Matale, Polonnaruwa, Matara, Debarawewa, Badulla, Monaragala, Kalutara, Moratuwa and Colombo.
Second round games will be in Colombo. The semi-finals will be held at the Thurstan and BRC Grounds and the final at the P. Sara Stadium.

According to Mr. T.S. Shun, General Manager of the Prima Group said that they have signed the sponsorship package for three years with SLC. - BW
