We would like to express our appreciation to The Sunday Times for providing a copy of the English translation of the Dhammapada along with the issue of 31.12. 2006.

It is a timely and worthy gift as most of us involved in multifarious commitments in our day-to-day living do not have the time or the opportunity to read and digest the Sinhala-Pali Dhammapada which is generally in a voluminous format. A simple readable booklet, the Dhammapada is now available for our edification and enlightenment.

The Sunday Times could issue similar religious tracts of other faiths as and when necessary for the guidance of all other religious adherents as well.
