Nuwara Eliya is experiencing frosty weather conditions with temperatures dropping as low as four degrees centigrade.

The green grass in this salubrious hill station has turned white in some areas, creating a scenic picture postcard beauty.

But potato cultivators have been hit with their crops being affected by the frost while those whose jobs entail night shifts complain of the bitter cold nights.
