Malani in the miniscreen

Another series of top films starring queen of the Sinhala silver screen, Malani Fonseka will be telecast daily on Sirasa TV. This weeks Malani Fonseka Film Festival will feature 'Welle Thenu Maliga', 'Sandawata Ran Tharu', 'Saradiyelge Putha', 'Shakthiya Obai Amme', 'Weera Udara', 'Wasanthe Dawasak' and 'Geethika'. The telecast will begin at 12 noon on Saturdays and Sundays and 1. 30 pm on weekdays.

'Welle Thenu Maliga' to be screened on November 19 is directed by Shirley P. Wijerathne. Vijaya Kumarathunga and Amarasiri Kalansuriya play the two lead roles.

Directed by Siri Kularatne and Ananda Hewage 'Sandawata Ran Tharu' starring Vijaya Kumaratunga, Joe Abeywickrema, Sriyani Amerasena and D. R. Nanayakkara is telecast on November 20.

'Saradiyelge Putha', the film on November 21 is directed by Neil Rupasinghe stars Tony Ranasinghe, Ananda Jayaratne and Alexander Fernando.

Anton Kingsley's 'Shakthiya Obai Amme' will be screened on November 22 and features Lucky Dias, Sashi Wijendra, Damayanthi Fonseka, Roy de Silva and Mervin Jayathunga in the stellar cast.

Shirley P. Wijeyrathne's 'Weera Udara' staring Vijaya Kumaratunge, Anoja Weerasinghe, Cletus Mendis, Tennyson Coorey Bandu Samarasinghe and will be screened on November 23.

'Wasanthe Dawasak' stars Ravindra Randeniya, Joe Abeywickrema, Somi Ratnayake, Somalatha Subasinghe and Daya Alwis.
Directed by T. Arjuna the film will be screened on November 24.

Yasapalitha Nanayakkara's 'Geethika' will be screened on November 25. Vijaya Kumaratunge, Anoja Weerasinghe, Wimal Kumara de Costa and Freddie Silva play the key roles.
