Mazahir slams 50 in 20 balls

A swashbuckling knock of 71 by Nisham Mazahir inclusive of four boundaries and seven towering sixes was the highlight of the drawn encounter between S. Thomas’ and Lumbini MV concluded at Mt Lavinia yesterday. Mazahir collected his first 50 runs in just 20 balls.

Lumbini resuming from their overnight score of 1 for 2 went to make 171 for 9 before declaring in reply to the Thomians score of 267.
