Suntel’s state of the art call centre in Kandy

Suntel has also relocated its existing centre to the new Call Centre premises, combining the two to provide easier access and added convenience to their customers.

Suntel last week launched its first out of town call centre at 19, Prince Street, Kandy, in the presence of several dignitaries. This is the first Suntel call centre to operate outside Colombo and is the first state of the art call centre to be launched by any private fixed line telecom provider in the country.

Suntel has also relocated its existing centre to the new Call Centre premises, combining the two to provide easier access and added convenience to their customers. The Suntel centre will operate as a complete service centre under the supervision of over 40 agents and will meet with the rising demand of their fast expanding customer base island-wide. The launch event will be followed by a week long period of special promotional offers and attractive packages for new and existing customers who walk in to the Suntel Centre, the company said.

With the launch of this new call centre, Suntel aims to create more job opportunities for the city dwellers and youth within Kandy and its outskirts. Taking into account the number of leading schools in Kandy, it is Suntel’s aim to expose the town’s youth to the telecommunication industry and its developing trends, whilst creating better career opportunities for them.

Suntel plans to introduce broadband in the near future which will enable them to become a full service provider in both their residential and business operations, allowing them to cater to the individual needs of customers.
