Orange Electric expands operations in Maldives

Sri Lankan company Orange Electric manufacturers of world class switches, sockets and electrical products is poised to expand operations in Maldives.

At the recently concluded Construction Exhibition held at the ‘Dharabarug Exhibition Center’ in the Maldives, Orange Electric made a significant presence and impacted the market bringing credit to Sri Lankan manufacturing expertise. This is in pursuance of Orange Electric’s vision to become a global player and leader in the electrical products market, a company statement said. Orange Electric currently exports to Australia, Europe, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Dubai and Africa. Orange Electric products are renowned for its outstanding quality which conform to international standards. These standards are British, (BS) Singapore (PSB), Malaysian (MS) and SLS and carry a lifetime guarantee.

Maldivian President Maumoon Abdul Gayoom declared open the Orange Electric stall at the Construction Exhibition. At the Maldives exhibition the Orange Electric team was represented by, the Regional Export Director - SAARC and ASEAN Region -Orville Symons, Regional Export Director Middle East, Africa and Europe – Thandula Goonawardena and Export Support Services Manager Indika Peiris.
