Advertising legend Chris Kyme reinvigorates Sarva…

Sarva, fresh from their silver award triumph of their ‘Stella’ TV Commercial at the ‘Chillies’, is infusing new life into their creative process - bringing down internationally renowned creative director Chris Kyme to help them “unleash the power of simplicity.”

At a presentation to the senior management of their clients at the World Trade Center, Kyme, by showing some well thought out examples, convinced them how they could say more by saying less.

This was followed by a two day work shop for agency personnel and a few of their counterparts from the client end, titled K.I.S.S with Chris, at Club Palm Bay Marawila. “This was the first time a local agency has organized this kind of training exercise and we are proud to be the ones to set an example for the others,” said Kenneth Honter, Chairman Sarva and current President of the 4 A’s.

“We firmly believe that brands marketed in Sri Lanka are best looked after by World class Sri Lankans who understand local values and perceive local culture” said Chrishantha Jayasinghe MD of Sarva Integrated. “This is just the beginning of a series of training sessions by which we hope to build a world class team because we know with the right exposure and training our local talent can outperform anyone else from anywhere in the world.”

Kyme, now a Creative Partner of ‘Eight Partnership’, which is evolving to being one of Hong Kong’s most sought- after agencies, is well known in Sri Lanka for the ‘Is there a Lion in You’ campaign which featured the song ‘Many rivers to cross’.
