'Deduni Wessa', the debut attempt of young Buddika Jayaratne which is now on CEL circuit.

‘Dedunu Wessa’, introduces a new director and a lead actress to Sri Lankan cinema. While Buddhika a costume designer has turned director, Miss Sri Lanka Rozanne Diaz becomes a model turned actress in the lead.

The newt film scheduled to be released is Buddhika Jayaratne's 'Dedunu Wessa' with the leadin cast plyed by Malani Fonseka, Rozanne Diaz, Nirosha Perera and Buddhika himself.

According to director Buddhika, 'Dedunu Wessa', a commercial with glamour, targeting a young audience will be released on CEL circuit cinemas. Others in the supporting cast are Srimal Wedisinghe, Rajitha Chamikara, Prashani Perera and singer Madumasawa Aravinda who is introdeuced to cinema.

'Dedunu Wessa' is cinematographed by K. D. Dyananda and Tharupathi Munasinghe is introduced as a music director. Gractian Ananda, Uresha Ravihari, Athula Adhikari and Samitha Mudukotuwa render their voices for the playback singhing.
