Emergency debate and condolence vote this week
Parliament will debate the extension of the emergency regulations as well as a condolence vote on the late TNA Parliamentarian Joseph Pararajasingham this week.

Two Bills presented by Trade and Commerce Minister - on anti-dumping and countervailing duties and safeguard measures - will also be taken up for debate.

The first Bill will provide for the investigation and imposition of anti-dumping duties and countervailing duties with regard to products imported to Sri Lanka while the second Bill will provide for the conduct of investigations and the application of safeguard measures on products imported into the country.
