‘Kasee Salu’:A drama in the FTZ
Yashodara is from a remote rural village. She lives in a congested area with no facilities. She has a few friends. They meet complex characters during the many conflicts they come across in daily life.

That’s how the storyline of teledrama ‘Kasee Salu’ starts. Herath the trishaw driver is attached to the garment factory on a temporary basis. They all lodge at Thungadasa's house.

Thungadasa's son Hirantha returns to the village after serving a term in jail. This is not conducive to peace loving residents including Yasodara and her fellow boarders. Herath brings the news of Hirantha's release. Hirantha, the boarding house owner's son is quarrelsome and even for a minor matter such as toilet facilities and water he starts fights with Yashodara.

Due to this reason Yashodara leaves the boarding and seeks lodging at Rajini's who is a good hearted woman with a questionable character. Madam, the supervisor of the garment factory is a tough character. She is so ruthless that she even destroys the personal letters that comes to girls working in the garment factory. Janitha, a young supervisor is well loved in the garment factory. Janitha Miss is friendly and kind-hearted. Most of the young girls share their difficulties finding comfort in her.

Meanwhile Hirantha is annoyed with Herath that he helps Yashodara and the other girls. Thus he draws a plan to destroy Herath and throws a bomb at the three-wheeler with the help of Henda. Narrowly escaping the attack, Herath gets hold of the culprit. 'Madam' is not in good terms with Herath.

At this stage Hirantha gets a job at the factory as a security officer. He has ulterior motives getting a job there. More than anyone it was Madam who is gladdened about this new recruitment. This was mainly due to the reason that she has found someone who is not friendly with Yashodara and Herath's group. But with the entrance of Hirantha, Yashodara leaves her job at the garment factory.

This causes many conflicting situations to arise in the lives of Yashodara, Herath, Hirantha and Janitha and subsequently. 'Kasee Salu' comes to a dramatic end after its twenty two episodes.
