Thunpath Ratawaka Lassana’: Mano in triplerole
Experienced actor Jayalath Manoratne will play triple roles for the first time in Sri Lankan teledrama history in a miniplay directed by him.Scripted and directed by Jayalath Manoratne, ‘Thunpath Ratawaka Lassana’, is a story revolving around three brothers, who go on different ways in life, and is telecast every Friday at 8.35 pm on Rupavahini.

Manoratne playing the three brothers, the others in the cast are Cyril Gamage, Geetha Kanthi Jayakody, Anjula Rajapakse, Lal Kularatne, Dananjaya Siriwardena, Banuka Manoratne, Nihal Fernando, Rupa Pathirana, Gihan Fernando, Suramya Perera and Hiranya Manoratne.

Kandulegama is a remote village with beautiful surrounding. Loku Bandara, Madduma Bandara and Bala Bandara are three brothers living in this village. The eldest, who remained a bachelor is a farmer in profession. Involved in the traditional plays in the village, he helps for everyone in the village.

Completely opposite to eldest is the second brother. For him the money plays a most important role. Out from the school, he starts a journey to become a millionaire one day.

For the youngest, the education was the most important and he joins civil service. He has a very simple out look for life. The others in the drama are the mother of these three children, Vishaka who lives a miserable life with the second brother and Sumudu, who plays a role of a supportive wife to the youngest brother.

There are number of other supportive characters who play in Thunpath Ratawaka Lassana mong the production crew, art director Nuwan Sauranka de Silva, make up by Priyantha Dissanayake, editor Jagath Weeratunge, music director Janaka Fonseka and the miniplay is produced by Janaka Siriwardena.
