Rookantha - Chandraleka launch latest album

Popular husband and wife singing duo Rookantha Goonatillake and Chandralekha Perera launched their latest albums 'Maime Indan' and 'Mage Aadare' at a mega concert held at the BMICH recently.

Rookantha's albums 'Maime Indan' and Chandralekha's 'Mage Aadare' are productions of Torana Music Box and each compact disc comprises of 14 new songs.

Title song 'Maime Indan' leads the pack of new song including 'Sanda Pinidiya', 'Eas Deka Piyana', 'Ahankara Pem', 'Premila', 'Pavukaraya Mung', Gini Kandu', 'Sandapana Wage', 'Mama Aheuwa', 'Bindunaada', 'Ran Malayak', 'Mayawee',
'Mage Raththarane' and 'Hariyanneth'.

The songs are penned by Janaka Sri Perera, Upulshantha Sannasgala, Sydney Chandrasekera , Saman Athawuda , Hemasiri Halpita and Rookantha himself. Musician Rohana Weerasinghe and Rookantha Goonathilake handled the music direction.

Chandralekha's new song 'Mage Adare' followed by 'Kohe Sita', 'Gee Gayanawa Maath', 'Mathak Wee Oba', 'Tharu Mal Wage', 'Wasantha Wessata', 'Aadere Mata Nokiya', 'Pura Handak', 'Aatha Aatah', 'Thena Thena', 'Obey Hadawatha', 'Sayura Soyana', 'Thama Kelambewi', and 'Aadare Kiyadidi'.

Rookantha, Mahinda Bandara, Rohana Weerasinghe, Sarath de Alwis and Suresh Maliyadde created music for the songs written by Nandana Wickramage, Dr. Ranil Jayasena, Kelum Srimal, Kapila Kumara Kalinga, Bandula Nanayakkara, Hemasiri Halpita and Dr. Ajantha Ranasinghe in this new CD.
Both CDs are digitally Mastered at the Torana Recording studio.
