Girl Guide Camporee
Recently, we Girl Guides of 34th Colombo, Holy Family Convent had our Camporee at the National Training Centre, Ganemulla from June 26 - 29, 2005. Around 100 Girl Guides participated in the Camporee. As Girl Guides we got an opportunity to visit the Commando Regiment and the Jayakody Walauwa in Ganemulla.

We also decided to have a campfire on June 28, which was held successfully. We had a very nice time. We sang songs, danced, presented items and gave cheers for all the items. In the end a humble thank-you speech was given.

Learning something different is always fun. Anyway this was a very good experience for all the Girl Guides of Holy Family Convent, Bambalapitiya
