Blasts disrupt talks on Lanka
The string of bomb explosions in London last Thursday prevented an important event to the Sri Lanka’s peace process. Norway’s Ambassador Hans Bratskaar met with Deputy Foreign Minister Vidar Helgesen in London.

The duo were on their way for a meeting with LTTE chief peace negotiator Anton Balasingham when the explosions took place. They could not proceed or telephone about their inability to come over. Consequently they sent him an email message and proceeded to Oslo from London.
