Coming attractions at the Majestic Cinema

Cinemagoers are in for series of latest movies of fast moving romantic and action factacy films that are to be released at CEL circuit, Majestic cinema Colombo.

These new imports include 'Gladiator' famed director Ridley Scott's 12th century epic romantic action film 'The Kingdom of Heaven'.
The epic tale starring Martin Hancock, Michael Sheen, Nathalie Cox and Eriq Ebouaney revolves around Balian of Ibelin travels to Jerusalem during the crusades of the 12th century, and there he finds himself as the defender of the city and its people.

Set at the time of the Crusades during the Dark Ages - the world shaping 'The Kingdom of Heaven' released in 2005 is a panoramic tale of religious bigotry, pageantry, romance and unprecedented courage at a time of transition.
It portraits a collision between Europe and the East.

A blacksmith named Balian has lost his family and nearly his faith.
The religious wars raging in the far-off Holy Land seem remote to him, yet he is pulled into that immense drama. Amid the pageantry and intrigues of medieval Jerusalem he falls in love, grows into a leader, and ultimately uses all his courage and skill to defend the city against staggering odds.
'Mr. and Mrs. Smith' starring Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt the film had its world wide release in June.

Directed by Doug Liman the film is a sexy assassination tale that finds two of the worlds deadliest killers (played by Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt) married to each other, without either knowing the true nature of the others profession. It doesn't take long until they are on to each other, and the decision rest between family or career...

It is another latest release scheduled to be imported by the CEL.
'The Sin' a film about a 'traveller' going around the world, witnessing and absorbing many lessons in life, in love and its repercussion and the responsibilities that come in their wake.

The Sin is a first in Thai Language to be released with English sub -titles in Sri Lanka.
The film released in 2005 is imported by Imperial for the CEL release.
After spending his earlier years as a photographer, Thep travels around the world facing different facets of life.

One day he decides that it is time to return home, time to resolve the differences that stand between him and his father , a former policeman, now a wealthy fishing company owner Cherng.

Upon his return to the Island, Thep meets Riem, a beautiful and attractive young woman and is taken over from the first moment they meet each other.
However , the young man has to hide that feeling when he later realizes that Riem is his new wife.

During his stay at his father's house, Thep discovers an incestuous relationship between Riem and Cherng.
The shared pain draws Riem and Thep closer driving them both to step over the boundary of right and wrong.

How this mysterious story ends, the path Riem and Thep have chosen, an unordinary love between three people, will soon be revealed once the film is released at MC.
Directed by Ong-Artsinglumpong the film stars Andy Tangkaprasert, Belen Nima and Sorapong Chatree.

Muscle Heat action movie starring Kosugi Lee is another fast action film scheduled to be released at Majestic this year.

Released in 2005 the film set in Tokyo where ruthless gangsters are pushing a new designer Drug called 'Muscle Heat'. The highly addictve narcotic is a sinister steroid adverse side effect-it includes a murderous rage and drives them to kill.

When Joe (Kosugi Lee), a US Navy Seal and a Japanese detective join forces to stop the circulation of Muscle Heat they find themselves as contestants in an extreme underground martial arts fight club run by yazura and hidden inside the infamous 'Muscle Dome'.
