- The
discussion at the Duratissa camp
1. The chief-minister, Meghavarna took his leave and went
to the camp. The next day dawned. King Mahasen left his camp,
taking the Royal Army back to Anuradhapura. Meanwhile on the other
side of the Duratissa tank, a discussion was going on.
- A
tunnel connecting two waterfalls?
Aberdeen Falls in the Nuwara Eliya District with a 98m
fall makes up a section of the Kehelgamuwa river and joins the
Maskeli river at Kalugala before flowing into the ocean via the
Kelani ganga.
- New
clothes for the New Year
Kamani, Sunil, Sumana and I eagerly waited for the new year. Kamani
got her new skirt and blouse nicely sewn by her mother, for the
new year. She brought them to the play house for us to see.
