Golden Oldies on Rupavahini
Sri Lanka Rupavahini brings a series of old Sinhala films including some of the best of yesteryear. Screenings will be on the afternoon belt every Sunday and at 12.00 noon during the month od April.

‘Somi Boys’ directed by M. A. Hunaideen will be screened on April 10 (today). The film stars, Sanath Gunatilake, Bandu Samarasinghe, Savindhi Silva, Tennyson Cooray and Chamikara.

‘Sudu Aiya’ one of the popular movies enriched with M. K. Rocksamy’s musical score will be screened on April 17 (Sunday). Directed by S. V. Chandran the film stars Baptist Fernando, Jenita Samaraweera, Manel Wanaguru, Rukmani Devi, Don Sirisena and Rex Kodippili.

Tissa Liyanasooriya’s ‘Saravita starring Joe Abeywickrema will be screened on April 24. Wally Nanayakkara and Jeewarani Kurukulasuriya play roles along with Joe in the film released in 1965.
