Reggie Candappa Creative Awards tomorrow
The Reggie Candappa Creative Awards, launched to commemorate a man whose profound contributions to the advertising industry will always be spoken of in virtual reverence, will be held tomorrow, December 6 at the Barefoot Gallery 706, Colombo.

These awards are the first event being hosted by the new Reggie Candappa Foundation for the Arts being set up by the family of the late Candappa and his friends, the Grants group said.

The categories in which Awards will be handed out are for Best Art Direction, Best Copywriting, Best Logo Design, Best use of Photography, Best use of Illustration and Best use of Typography in all forms of above and below the line print, ads which have been created and published in the past three years.

Judging the entries will be four of the most influential creative forces in the advertising industry - Nicola Bolling, Upali Herath, Russell Miranda and Chandani Rajaratnam.
