Lilanthi on ‘Sri Lankan Satr Parade’
Lilanthi Jayaratne, wife of late musician Ivan Jayaratne will be featured on “Sri Lankan Star Parade’’ on Sunday, November 21 from 1.30 - 2.00 p.m. on Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation. She will be interviewed by Bevil Palihawadana.

She will be singing one of her own compositions and a few cover versions for which, music was provided by her late husband.

Recently she performed in an English Musical (drama) titled “Guttila”, and played the role of Guttila’s mother. In this afternoon’s programme, she will also sing a duet from the musical “Guttila”.

Veteran musician Dilup Gabadamudalige was instrumental in providing the music and directing this drama, and the lyrics were by Uddaka Tennekoon. Today’s programme coincides with the fourth death anniversary of her late musician husband, Ivan Jayaratne.
