CWE asks Kamal to return its building
CWE has asked Popular actor Kamal Addararachchi to return a two-storey building, which was given to him during the last regime or pay the monthly rent of Rs. 136,000.

The building was given to him as part of his business deal with the CWE but he continued to occupy it even after the deal had lapsed, CWE chairman Upali Gunaratne said.

He said if Mr. Addararachchi failed to comply with their demand, they would take legal action to evict him. Meanwhile the CWE has also taken back a warehouse at Sangharaja Mawatha that was being used as an astrological office for a monthly rent of Rs. 500.
