‘Senehase Nimnaya’: Tale of an adopted son

‘Senehase Nimnaya’ is a plot on an adopted son and the teledrama is being telecast every Monday at 9.00pm on Swarnavahini. Wasanthi Chathurani, Asoka Peiris, Anula karunathilake, Ananda Wickramage, Maureen Charuni, Nilanthi Dias, Gihan Fernando and Tharindu Wijersinghe star in this teledrama
Lambert Weerawansa is a wealthy businessman and his wife is Matilda. Their servant, Carolina is treated more like a member of their family.

The couple without children for many years after marriage have adopted Charlotte’s child, Amal as their son. The only person who is unhappy about this adoption is Victor, Lambert’s only brother. He tries to persuade Lambert not to proceed with the adoption.

However, when Amal turns four, Matilda gives birth to two more children, Shiran and Madhavi. But they never let Amal know or feel that he was an adopted child, since he filled the void in their lives when they were childless.

As time passes by, Lambert falls ill and all businesses are handed over to Victor and his son Dilan, who were awaiting to take over Lambert’s wealth. But they become disappointed when Amal interferes in the business and ultimately takes charge of the business.

Once Amal takes over the business Victor and Dilan are faced with economic difficulties. Dilan, a playboy manages to influence Shiran to follow his wayward habits. All the attempts to siphon money by unscrupulous methods fail. With all plans failing Dilan does the vanishing trick.

Victor being under the impression that Amal was responsible for his sons disappearance decides to take revenge. Senehase Nimnaya is directed by Premakumara Jayawardena.
